In this video, we share our journey of trying to locate and repair a pesky roof leak in our Airstream. For months, we searched for the source of the leak, but it seemed to elude us at every turn. We tried everything from resealing the roof, to checking for damage, but the leak persisted. Finally, after months of searching, we discovered the cause of the leak. It turns out that the leak was coming from the Black and Gray tank roof vents. We show you how we located the leak, and then demonstrate the step-by-step process of repairing it. We use two sealants specifically designed for Airstreams and show you how to apply it properly to ensure that the leak is properly sealed and the repair will last. We also show you how to properly maintain your Airstream's roof to prevent leaks in the future. We hope that by sharing our experience, we can save other Airstream owners the months of frustration and hassle that we went through. Watch our video to see how we located the leak and how we repaired it, and get tips on how to prevent leaks in your Airstream.
